Dr. Xiaoyan Lu is an associate professor at College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Zhejiang University. She received her Ph.D. degree fromthe Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and worked as a Postdoctoral fellowin the center for nanotechnology and nanotoxicology atHarvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health, Harvard University. Her research focuses on riskassessment of drugs and nanomaterials. The areas of special interest include: 1) Systems biology-based approaches to understand the underlying physicochemical properties-dependent interactions of nanomaterials with biological systems; 2) Single-cell multi-omics-based strategies to identify thebiomarkers for diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory diseases. Dr. Lu has published peer-reviewed papers in Protein & Cell,Trends in Biotechnology,ACS Nano,Journal of Hazardous Materials, Small Methods,Clinicaland Translational Medicine,Pharmacological Research, etc.
