Academic and university teacher (lecturer) with more than 33 years of university experience at several state and private universities in the Czech Republic. From 1989 to 1997 he worked as an older teacher at the Military Academy in Brno, at the Department of Chemical Troops. Later in the years 1997 to 2006 he worked in several Czech specialist companies focused on industrial chemical safety and security in connection with the prevention of major chemical accidents and partly focused on protection against weapons of mass destruction (WMD), especially at the area of decontamination at the Prague Metro. From 2006 to 2014 he worked initially as the university teacher (an associate professor) at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, Brno, at the Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Environmental Protection. From September 2014 to August 2019, he worked as an associate professor at the Institute of Population Protection, Faculty of Logistics and Crisis Management in UherskéHradiště (a part of Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic) as a full-time job. Here he was a guarantor of the follow-up Master's degree programme, entitled "The Security of the Society" study programme; Member of the Scientific Council of the Faculty; member of the Board of study programmes of the faculty. From October 1, 2020 he started to work at the Police Academy of the Czech Republic in Prague, Faculty of Security Management (university teacher), full time job. From July 1, 2021 he started to work at the South Bohemia University, Faculty of Health and Social Studies in ČeskéBudějovice (university teacher), part time job.
